The ultimate experience for the students where a combination of physically and mental challenges meet.

The most extensive program in our collection. Brilliant for secondary schools looking to expand their Outdoor Education options.

Expedition Programs are where my heart lies, as they have brought me so much personal learning and self development that I want others to experience this for themselves. Groups of individuals will traverse large sections of land to reach their final destination. Supported and guided by an Adventure Alternatives Facilitator, the group will, by the end of the program, be able to self manage their group experience. The level of bonding and growth which is obtained during an Expedition program is significant and noticeable even as soon as returning to school.

An Expedition Program can be 3, 5 or 10 days in duration and in a number of different locations around SE Qld. Our main base is the Adventure Alternatives Education Centre at Woodford which is an hour from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. With 7500 hectares of Forestry at our door step, we enter a world of Adventurous opportunities, with tracks and trails taking us to the Glasshouse Mts, Kenilworth, Gympie or the Bunya Mountains.
