Looking for an Outdoor Education Experience for your Students but limited on Budget or Time? Then you may well have found an alternative.

We understand that school budgets are tight and time is a resource seldom found in a busy school. To address this issue, Adventure Alternatives has developed a Single Day Intiative Based Program for your school. With the day's program based on an initiative rotation, groups of students will attempt a variety of different initiative and problem solving activities which we will bring onsite. Guided by one ofthe Facilitators, the students will have time to address issues such as Leadership, Communication, Co-operation, Teambuilding and a number of other key programs we have designed specifically for Schools.

A Single Day program is often slotted into a normal, school day, timeframe to ensure that students are returned to school in time for bus and train departure times. We can work to any timeframe which best meets your needs.

"Where Can we run this type of Program for our Students?"

Almost anywhere is the simple answer. As long as we have enough room to set up the activities and a large area to run some big group activities with adequate toilet facilities and access to water, then we can run your program at your desired location.

R Onsite at School: (For those schools with a very tight budget and no adequate areas to spill out onto). A school based program can be designed to fit neatly into the school day. These can be run in the classroom, corridor, gymnasium or school oval.

R At a local park near School : A local park can provide a great venue for our range of activities. With adequate facilities (toilets and water), Adventure Alternatives will be able to do a rolling Risk Assessment of the site prior to your program and select the most appropriate activities to bring on site. A local park, close to school, will help reduce cost by removing the need for buses to transport students.

R At one of a number of preferred sites we use: Adventure Alternatives has a number of sites we can use around SE Qld which clients prefer to use as they want the students taken to a new environment away from the "norm" of the school day.
